Each block design uses traditional piecing methods, includes half square triangles, quarter square triangles, half rectangle triangles, diamond in a square and triangle corners.

* There are 5 different block designs in this quilt
* The Bee, Tulip and Lily come in two different sizes
* Each block has its own set of instructions and fabric quantities
* Included with each instruction is a diagram of the block with the fabric placement
* Included is a set of tags to cut out to use for labelling the fabric pieces, one set for each block design
* At the end of the pattern are instructions on how to assemble the quilt top with sashing, and complete the quilt
