A Closer Look Inside February's Fabulous Fabric Club Box

A Closer Look Inside February's Fabulous Fabric Club Box

February was the month for the Fabulous Fabric Club subscription box. The pattern we were stitching with Hazel, from Hazel A Patterns, was The Turned Out Zipper Pouch, which comes in two different sizes.

Fabrics in the box

The fabrics in February's box, The Easy Life, were designed by Di Ujdi for Cloud9. This collection transports us to the countryside filled with magical plants and flowers, colourful houses and chirping birds. Become immersed in the countryside around you. Cloud9 produce 100% organic cotton fabrics, beautifully designed and high quality fabrics with a conscience.

I chose four designs for this box, three fabrics were shades of blue and one was pink as an accent colour. The pink fabric is Growing Up, the dark blue is Sing Me A Song, the mid blue is Countryside and the light blue is Flowers Are Forever.

The Turned Out Zipper Pouch Pattern

Hazel designed the the Turned Out Zipper Pouch in two sizes. The first one is 7” wide x 5” high x 2¼” deep, has a recessed zipper closure and a plain, lined interior. The second one is  9¾” wide x 7” high x 3” deep, has a zipped inner pocket as well as a triple pleated pocket with or without flaps, a wrist strap and a recessed zipper closure.

The pattern has 20 photos, a six step tutorial, and full pattern pieces to cut out. Also sew along with Hazel on YouTube.

Extras in the box

When we put together the Fabulous Fabric Club box there are extras included. Sometimes it is zipping or bag hardware, maybe some interfacing, or it could be some haberdashery, or a special gift. This is what is exciting about my subscription boxes, you never know what you are going to find! Below are the goodies our subscribers found in February's box.

What I love!

The best part for me is knowing that our subscribers are going to feel surprised and excited when their box comes through the door. Discovering new products or brands they haven't come across before and knowing that everything they receive is high quality, is a part of that too.

Whilst you are here check out my unboxing videos on YouTube. Join me next time for a closer look at one of my subscription boxes!
